Andreas Weiland awarded dissertation prize of the DGS Social Policy Section

At the 42nd Congress of the German Sociological Association, Andreas Weiland received the dissertation prize of the Social Policy Section for his dissertation "Couples' Careers and Women's Financial Security in Later Life", which was awarded summa cum laude.

The Social Policy Section's Dissertation Prize was awarded this year and is to be awarded every two years in future for the best dissertation in the field of sociological social policy research. The prize is intended to emphasize the importance of young academics in sociological research into social policy.
