Study on social policy in the covid-19 pandemic
Together with Emanuela Struffolino from the University of Milan, Hannah Zagel published a study on social policy during the coronavirus pandemic in Germany. The authors examined the expectations towards households regarding paid work and care work that were inscribed in the social and family policies implemented in response to the lockdown measures. One result is that the family policy reform trajectory from the 2000s was frozen, if not scaled back, during the pandemic. The study was published in the Journal of Social Policy. To the study.
